' નિજ' રચિત એક તાજગીભરી સ્ટોરી: ઉફ્ફો, આ ગરમી ' ઉફ્ફો, આ ગરમી, આ મારું રસોડું છે કે 1200 ડિગ્રીવાળી ભઠ્ઠી?' ફફડતી ફફડતી તોરલ ડ્રોઈંગરૂમમાં આવી . ડ્રોઈંગરૂમ પ્રમાણમાં કૂલ હતો.' તારે તો બેસી જ રહેવું છે, બસ પેપર વાંચ્યુ, ચા નાસ્તો કર્યા કે ઉપડ્યા ઓફિસ, મારે અહીં ત્રણ કલાક સવારે ને બે કલાક સાંજે રસોડામાં જ ગુડાઈ રહેવાનું, ને રસોડામાં જે ગરમી લાગે છે ન પૂછો વાત, જાણે અગનભઠ્ઠી 'તરુણ લાંબા પગ કરી પેપર હાથમાં લઈને આરામખુરશી પર આરામથીચાની ચુસ્કી લેતો બેઠો હતો.' ચિલ ડાર્લિંગ ચિલ, એક કામ કર ,થોડા દિવસ પિયર જઈ આવ, અહીંયા હું મારી વ્યવસ્થા કરી
