કાળી અંધારી રાત પથરાયેલ હતી, કાળા રંગનુ વાદળ વધુ ને વધુ કાળુ બની રહ્યુ હતું. એકલ- દોકલ કાર પુર વેગથી રસ્તાથી નીકળી જતી હતી. આજુબાજુમાં એક ગાઢ શાંતિ પસરાયેલી હતી. જે લોકો ફુટપાથ પર હતા, તે ઉંઘતા હતા, લાઈટનો પીળો પ્રકાશ જે રસ્તામાં પથરાયેલ હતો, તે રાત્રીને વધુ કાળાશ પ્રદાન કરી રહ્યુ હતું. કુતરા ક્યાંક ક્યાંક જાગતા હતા અને પોતાના નિયમિતા પ્રમાણે અવાજો કરી રહ્યા હતા. પવન ઠંડો હતો, પણ શાંત હતો. શરીર માંથી લોહી વધુ પડતું, નીકળી રહ્યું હતું એવો અહેસાસ થવા માંડ્યો હતો. કારણ શરીર હવે લથડીયા ખાય રહ્યુ હતું. આંખો માં ઘેન ઉતરવા માંડ્યુ હતું. પરંતુ હોસ્પિટલ
