બી. જે મેડિકલ કોલેજની બી- બ્લોક ની હોસ્ટેલ ના રૂમ નં. 59 ના બારણે ટકોરા પડયા, અંદર થી અવાજ આવ્યો “ બારણું ખુલ્લુ જ છે”, બારણું ખોલી કાર્તિક અંદર આવ્યો અને ખુરસી ટેબલ પર વાંચી રહેલા નિસિથ ને કહ્યું “ચાલ, હવે મેસ માં જમવા નથી આવવું? પછી આપણે યુનિવર્સિટિ જવાનું મોડુ થશે.” “મારે હજુ રેસ્પિરેટરિ સિસ્ટમ ડિસિઝ (શ્વસન તંત્ર ના રોગો) નું રિવિઝન બાકી છે, હજુ તો કાર્ડિયો વાસ્ક્યુલર ડિસિઝ (હ્રદય ના રોગો) વાંચું છું. તું જા જમી ને નિકળી જા.’’ નિસિથ ના સ્વર માં પરીક્ષા નો ઉચાટ સ્પષ્ટ વર્તાઇ રહ્યો હતો. “સારું હું જાઉં છું” કાર્તિક પણ જલ્દી હતો
