"આપણા ગાંડા બાવળને ગાંડો ના સમજો.."આપણે આ ખૂબજ ઉપયોગી બાવળને ગાંડો,હડકાયો બાવળ તરીકે ઓળખીએ છીએ.કેમકે આ બાવળની ડાળીમાં નીકળતી અતિ સુક્ષમ ધાર જો વાગી જાય તો લોહી નીકળ્યા વગર ન રહે.તેનો કાંટો વાગ્યા પછી તેનો ભાગ ન નીકળે તો વાગ્યા પરની જગ્યાએ સોજો પણ આવી શકે છે. હા એ ઝેરી નથી.પરંતુ તેની નજીક સાવચેતી રાખી ચાલવું જરૂરી છે.પાકા રોડ કે કાચા રસ્તે જઈએ ત્યારે આપણને સતત ભય સતાવે છે કે આપણા વહી્કલના ટાયર ને પંચર તો નહીં પડે ને? હા કુદરતદત્ત આ વનસ્પતિના થોડા અવગુણ બાદ કરતાં ઘણા ગુણ છે જે દરેકને ધ્યાને આવી જાય તો આ વૃક્ષ પ્રત્યે જે
