જીવનની પરીક્ષા... આ ઘટના થોડા વર્ષો પહેલા ઘટી હતી એક સાંજ મહેશભાઈ અને તેમના મિત્રો રમેશભાઈ, ગોપાલભાઈ ઘણા સમય પછી મળ્યા હતાં. મહેશભાઈ તેમની સાથે જીવનના સુખ-દુઃખની વાતો કરી રહ્યા હતાં. રમેશભાઈ તેમને નાના દીકરા રાહુલ વિશે પૂછ્યું કે મહેશભાઈના આખમાં આસું આવી ગયા મહેશભાઈ કહ્યું કે રાહુલ હવે અમારી સાથે નથી રહેતો. ત્રણેય મિત્રો છુટા પડ્યા મહેશભાઈ પોતાને ધરે પાછા આવી ગયા. મહેશભાઈના ગુજરાતના છેવાડાના ગામડામા રહેતા હતાં. તેમના બે છોકરા હતાં. નાનો દીકરો રાહુલ અને મોટો દીકરો મનીષ. મનીષ અભ્યાસમા નબળો હતો. મનીષ ssc ની પરીક્ષામા નાપાસ થયો હતો મનીષએ પોતાનો અભ્યાસ છોડી દીધો અને મહેશભાઈને ખેતીકામમા મદદ
