એક સમય એક બુધ્ધ ભિક્ષુક જંગલમાં એક વૃક્ષ નીચે ધ્યાન માં બેઠા હતા.ત્યારે એક કઠિયારો લાકડા કાપવા ત્યાં જંગલ માં આવે છે. કઠિયારો લાકડા કાપીને પોતાનું ગુજરાન ચલાવતો હતો.તે લાકડા કાપીને બજાર માં વેચે અને જે પૈસા આવે તેમાં પોતાના પરિવાર નું ભરણ પોષણ કરતો. કઠિયારો દરરોજ લાકડા કાપવા જંગલમાં આવતો જ્યાં આ બૌધ ભિક્ષુક બેઠા હતા.એક દિવસ ,બીજો દિવસ ,ત્રીજો દિવસ આમ સમય પસાર થતો ગયો.એક દિવસ બૌધ્ધ ભિક્ષુક કે કઠિયારા ને લાકડા કાપતા. જોઈએ તેની પાસે આવે છે.અને કહે છે "અરે ભાઈ તું આ લાકડa કાપીને તો ઘણા પૈસા કમાયો હશે.' બૌધ્ધ ભિક્ષુક ની વાત સાંભળી કઠિયારો ઊભો
