ગમનો દિલોત્સવ ... એક પ્રેમ કથા. અમીતા ખેડા જિલ્લાના એક ગામની સીધી સાદી 20 વર્ષની છોકરી છે. તેના પરિવારમાં તેના મોટાકાકા શશાંકભાઈ, તેમનો દીકરો રોશન અને પુત્રવધુ રોહણી અને અમીતાના પપ્પા. બધો જ વ્યવહાર અમીતાના મોટાકાકા જ કરે. અમીતાની મમ્મી તો એ ત્રણ વર્ષની હતી ત્યારે દેવલોક પામેલાં. તેનો ઉછેર તેનાં મોટાંકાકી સવિતાબહેને કરેલો. રોશનના લગ્ન પછી થોડા દિવસે સવિતાબહેન પણ અનંતની યાત્રાએ ચાલ્યાં ગયાં અમીતા પોતાના જ ગામના એક બ્રહ્મણ જ્ઞાતિના છોકરા અમીત ને મનથી અસીમ પ્રેમ કરતી હતી. જો કે અમીતને પણ અમીતા ઘણીપસંદ હતી. પરંતુ તે અમીતાને પોતાના દિલની વાત કરતાં ડરતો હતો.
