સડસડાટ ચાલી જતી ટ્રેનનો અવાજ પણ એના વિચારોના પ્રવાહને રોકી ન શક્યો. એ જૂની યાદોમા ખોવાઈને ત્યાં બેઠી હતી. બહુ નાની ઉંમરમાં જ જવાબદારીઓના બોજ નીચે એ દબાઈ ગઈ હતી. પિતાની છત્રછાયા ગુમાવી હોવાથી થોડું ભણીને એ નોકરી કરવા લાગી. એમાંથી એના નાના ભાઈ - બહેનનો અભ્યાસનો ખર્ચ અને મમ્મીને ઘરને ઘરખર્ચમાં મદદ મળતી. મમ્મી પણ સિલાઈ કામ સારું કરી લેતી જેથી ઘરખર્ચ નીકળે. પોતે અભ્યાસ અધૂરો મુક્યો પણ પોતાના ભાઈ - બહેનને એ ખૂબ આગળ લાવવા, પ્રગતિના પંથ પર જોવા માંગતી હતી. એની મમ્મીની તબિયત સારી ન હોય તો પણ એ ભાઈ કે બહેનને જાણ પણ ન
