આજની પેઢી માટે સૌથી પ્રિય એવું ફાસ્ટ ફૂડ હોય તો તે છે પીઝા.. વાસ્તવિક રીતે જોઈએ તો 18મી સદીમાં સૌપ્રથમવાર પીઝા બનાવવામાં આવ્યો હતો. પણ તે સમયે એટલો પ્રચલિત ન હતો. ઇટાલીના લોકો તે સમયે પીઝા થી એટલા પ્રભાવિત ન હતા પણ સમયાંતરે તેમાં કણક, ટમેટા અને પનીરના વિશેષ સંયોજનથી ધીમે ધીમે લોકોને પીઝા પસંદ પડવા માંડ્યો. આમ તો દુનિયાભરમાં અલગ-અલગ દિવસોએ પીઝા દિવસ ઉજવવામાં આવે છે, પણ, પીઝા પ્રેમીઓ દરરોજ આ દિવસ ઊજવી શકે છે!!!વર્ષ 2017માં યુનેસ્કોની સમિતિ દ્વારા વર્લ્ડ હેરિટેજ નું ટાઇટલ 'ફીસીયલ ટાઈટલ ઓફ આર્ટ' 'પીઝા ઈએલો' તરીકે આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું.. ૯ ફેબ્રુઆરીએ વિશ્વના
