હાલનાં અને વર્ષોથી ચાલી આવતી પરંપરાગત વિચારધારા ધરાવતાં આ રૂઢિચુસ્ત સમાજને એક ગ્રંથી બંધાઈ ગઈ છે. કે " સ્ત્રી ની બુદ્ધિ પગ ની પાનીએ. " પણ આ ઉક્તિ ને ખોટી પાડીને શિક્ષિત બનેલી અને કેળવણી પામેલી સ્ત્રી જ સાચા અર્થમાં એક સાચા સમાજનું સર્જન કરી શકશે. આજે મારે હવે આ ખોટા રીતરિવાજો , દહેજપ્રથા નું દૂષણ, ખોટી રીતે થતાં અત્યાચાર ને મારકૂટ થી છૂટીને બહાર નીકળવું જ પડશે. મારી ' પલક ' માટે પણ મારે હવે અબળા નહીં પણ સબળા બનીને જ જીવવું પડશે. આજે ધારા ખૂૂબજ દુ:ખી હતી. રોજેરોજ
