"અમારી વાડીમાં કામ કરતા ગુણવંતકાકા આ વાત કરી મારા હરખમાં ભંગ પાડી રહ્યા હતા.. વાત એમ હતી કે મેં અને મારા ભાઇએ લગભગ બે વર્ષ પહેલાં વાડીમાં આંબા રોપેલા હતા, આજે મારા આંબામાં કેરી આવેલી પણ ભાઇનો આંબો હજુ કોરો હતો, એ વાતથી જ હું વધુ ખુશ હતી.!"ભલે કેરી આવી પણ હજુ આંબાને વાર હતી, કેરી તો આવી ગઈ પણ હવે ફળદ્રુપતા એની ઘટી ગઈ.. આંબો જાજો ટકશે નહીં..!
