સગરદાદાનો વસ્તાર બહુ મોટો. ને બધાય શહેરમાં જ‌ઈને વસ્યા હતા.એટલે વારે-તહેવારે શાંતાબા આગ્રહ કરીને બધાને ગામડે બોલાવે. છોકરા-વહુઓ- ને પૌત્રો ને પ્રૌત્રીઓની કિલકારીઓ થી ઘર ગૂંજી ઉઠતું એ જોઈને બાનો આત્મા ઠરતો. પણ સગરદાદાનો આત્મા ને મન અશાંત થઈ જાય. સગરદાદા રહ્યા અંતર્મુખી. એ મોટાભાગે એકલાં જ એમના ઓરડામાં રહેતા. ભીડ તો ગમતી જ નહીં. ને અવાજને કારણે એ અકળાઈ જતાં. એમને વાર-તહેવાર આવેને એટલે અકળામણનો પાર ના રહેતો. એમને એમની શાંતિ માં ખલેલ પડશે હવે એ વિચારે ગુસ્સે થઈ જતાં. એમની અને શાંતાબાની વચ્ચે દર વખતે આ બાબતે ચડભડ થતી ને શાંતાબા જીતી જતાં ને બધાં સંતાનો ખુશખુશાલ થઈ
