ત્યાગની પરમસીમા છે જે, મમતાની મૂરત છે જે, દાસી ધર્મનો બેમિશાલ ઉદાહરણ કહી શકાય જેને- તેની આજે વાત કરવાની છે. ભુજ તાલુકામાં હબાય ડુંગર પાસે આવેલ ઝીકડી ગામ જામ ફૂલે પોતાની પાલક માતાના નામથી વસાવ્યું હતું. જેનો ઇતિહાસ કદાચ ગામનાં લોકો જાણતા હશે કાં તો ઈતિહાસકારો, જેણે વત્તા - ઓછાં અંશે ભૂતકાળને ટટોરવાની કોશિશ કરી હશે. રાજકુમાર ફૂલની રક્ષા ખાતર પોતાના પુતરની કતલ થતાં જોઇ અને ચીંથરેહાલ અવસ્થામાં ગામડિયણ મજૂરણ દાસીબાઈ ઝીકડી ફુલને તેડી બાંભણાસરમાં દુલારા પાદશાહના રાજ્યમાં લઇ ગઈ. આમ તેને દેશપ્રેમ કહો કે પછી સ્વામીભક્તિ, દાસી ઝીકડીએ તેને નિભાવીને ઇતિહાસના અમરપાત્રોમાં પોતાનું નામ અંકિત કરી દીધું છે.
