एक विसावा या वळणावर गौरी गणपती विसर्जन झाले तसे मृणाल नि आपले सामान आवरायला घेतले...मकरंद च्या डोळ्यात पाणी जमा झाले . खरंच ! आपण चुकलो ....? आयुष्यभर मृणालला हिणवले... इतर मैत्रिणींची तिच्याशी तुलना करत राहिलो ....तुला काय येतंय ? फक्त घरदार , चुलमूल ह्या पलीकडे तुझं कधी विश्वच नव्हतं का ? घशात आलेला आवंढा गिळून ....मनू ...ऐक ना ! प्लीज...आता इथेच राहा . नको जाऊ ग ! ..आश्रमात! मला एकट्याला एवढं मोठं घर खायला उठतं ! सुधीर , सीमा ...एकदा सकाळी ऑफिसला गेले की घरात कोणीही नसते ...नाही म्हणायला... पल्लवी असते पण तिचा अभ्यास, क्लास, कॉलेज यात ती बिझी !
