મૃત્યુ મારી ગયું રે લોલ. આ ઉક્તિ મેં ક્યાંક વાંચી હતી. ક્યાં તે યાદ નથી. કદાચ કોઈ મોટા ગજાના સાહિત્યકારની ઉક્તિ પણ હોય. જો કે આ ઉક્તિ આજે એટલે યાદ આવી કે એક તરફ કોરોનનો કહેર અને બીજી તરફ ભયજનક સપાટી વટાવી રૌદ્ર સ્વરૂપ ધારણ કરી ચૂકેલ મા નર્મદા. નદીના પ્રવાહનો વેગ એવો કે ભલભલા તરવૈયાને પણ માત આપી દે. આવા સમયે સાત યુવાનો માથે કફન બાંધી મૃતકને અંતિમ સંસ્કાર આપવા ધસમસતા જળમાં ઉતાર્યા આપણે સૌ જાણીયે છીએ કે કોરોનનો ભરડો ઢીલો થવાનું નામ નથી લેતો. ભારતમાં કોરોના દર્દીઓનો આંકડો 37 લાખને પર પહોંચી ગયો છે. અને મૃતકોની સંખ્યા 65
