એક દ્રશ્ય હજુ પણ મારી આંખ મા આંસુ આપી જાય છે એ ક્ષણ આજે પણ મારા દિલને હચમચાવી જાય છે. અમારે છ વાગ્યાની ટ્રેન પકડવાની હતી, સવારમાં કોઈ ટેક્સી વાળો ન હોવાથી અમે સવારના ૫ વાગ્યેથી મામાની ઘરેથી ચાલવાનું શરૂ કર્યું. શિયાળાની સવાર, રસ્તો સાવ સુનો તેમજ શાંત હતો, ઝાકળ વરસીને તેનું કામ કરતી અને અંધકાર તેનો સાથ આપતો, લોકો બધા પોતાના ઘરમાં ટુટીયા વાળીને સુતા હતા, રસ્તામાં બધા કુતરાઓ ઠંડીને કારણે ધ્રૂજતા હતા. શિયાળાની સવાર, અંધકારની સાથે વરસતી ઝાકળ અને શાંત વાતાવરણ, આવો નજારો મેં
