(1) જીવનનો સ્વાદ. ડાયાબિટીસને કારણે અંધ બનેલા અને પેરેલીસીસનો ભોગ બનેલા છગનલાલ લોકડાઉન પહેલા સોસાયટીના ગેટની બહાર સુધી સાવર સાંજ બેસવા જતા.અને 135નો મસાલો ખાતા. એમનો પુત્ર જીગો એમને માટે મસાલાની સામગ્રી ઘેર લઈ આવ્યો હતો.જ્યારે ઈચ્છા થાય ત્યારે એમને મસાલો બનાવીને એ આપતો.એ મસાલાથી,એમના મોંમાં અનેરો સ્વાદ અને મનમાં અનેરો ઉન્માદ છવાઈ જતો. લોકડાઉનમાં બહાર જવાનું તો બંધ થઈ ગયું.એટલે એમના પત્નીએ કહ્યું કે હવે બેઠા બેઠા શું આખો દિવસ માવો ચાવ્યા કરો છો..બંધ કરી દો.. છગનલાલને પણ લાગ્યું કે લાવને હવે આ છેલ્લા શોખને પણ જતો કરી જ દઉં.આમેય હવે જીવવામાં શું સ્વાદ રહ્યો છે.. બીજા દિવસથી એમને કશું કામ
