મમ્મી ! જલ્દી થી જમવાનું આપ, મારે ક્લાસ જવાનું મોડું થાય છે. બસ છૂટી જશે. - સિદ્ધાર્થે કપડાં પહેરતા જ બૂમ પાડી. સિદ્ધાર્થ પંચમહાલ જિલ્લાના મુખ્યમથક એવા ગોધરામાં એક જાણીતા કોચિંગ ક્લાસમાં કોન્સ્ટેબલની તૈયારી કરતો હતો. તેનું ધ્યેય ફક્ત કોન્સ્ટેબલ બનવાનું જ હતું. તે કોલેજ ના પહેલા વર્ષમાં હતો. તેના પિતા છૂટક મજુરી કામ કરતા અને માતા દરજી કામ. એકજ બહેન હતી. જેના લગ્ન તેમના ગામથી થોડેક દૂર આવેલ ગામમાં સુખી કુટુંબમાં થયા હતા. કોન્સ્ટેબલની તૈયારી કરતા સિદ્ધાર્થને ફક્ત વરદીની જ ચાહ હતી. તે વહેલી સવારે જઈને દોડવાની પ્રેકટીસ કરી આવતો. તેનો શરીરનો બાંધો પણ સારો હતો.
