મારા બંને આખાય હાથ એકદમ લોહીથી ભરેલાં હતાં. આંખો હજી પણ આ હકીકત માનવા માટે તૈયાર ન હતી. હદયના ધબકારા એકદમ ઝડપથી ધબકી રહયા હતાં. બંને આંખોને અત્યારે ખુબ જ રડવું હતું. પણ ખબર નહિ કોણ જાણે અત્યારે આંખ માંથી એક પણ આંસુ આવી રહયું ન હતું. મારું આખુય શરીર ધ્રુજી રહયું હતું. જયારે તેનું લોહીથી ભરેલું મોઢું મારા ખોળામાં રહેલું હતું. તેનું આખુય શરીર હવે સુન્ન પડી ગયું હતું. તેનો શ્વાસ હંમેશ માટે બંધ થઈ ગયો હતો. પણ તેમ છતાં હું રસ્તાની વચ્ચે બેસીને તેને ફરીવાર જીવતી કરવાં માટે તેની ઉપર હાથ ફેરવીને વ્યર્થ પ્રયત્નો કરી રહયો
