(પ્રેરણાત્મક વાર્તા) પલ્લવી જીતેન્દ્ર મિસ્ત્રી. સરલાબહેન અર્ધ નિદ્રામાં હતાં, અને એ કરુણ દ્રશ્ય એમને ફરીથી દેખાયું. એ સાથે જ એ ઝબકીને જાગ્યા. આટલી ઠંડીમાં પણ આખા શરીરે પરસેવો વળી ગયો. જ્યારથી એ કમનસીબ બનાવ બન્યો, ત્યારથી એટલે કે લગભગ ચૌદ-પંદર દિવસથી એમની ઊંઘ વેરણ થઇ ગઈ હતી. સુતા - જાગતા કે કોઈ કામ કરતા હોય ત્યારે અચાનક એ દ્રશ્ય એમની આંખ સામે આવી જાય, અને એ છળી ઊઠે. એમણે જાગીને સ્વસ્થ થવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો, સાડીના પાલવથી ચહેરા પરનો પરસેવો લૂછ્યો. પલંગની બાજુમાં મુકેલા જગમાંથી ગ્લાસમાં કાઢીને બે ઘૂંટડા પાણી પીધું. સામેની દીવાલ પર લગાવેલા ઘડિયાળમાં જોયું તો સવારના સાડાપાંચ
