ઘરના બધા કામ આટોપી મનુ વહેલી પરોઢ ની પહેલી બસમાં જવા નીકળી ,તદ્દન ગામડાના પોષાક માં સજ્જ હતી, પરંતુ બસમાં બેસનારા અને શાહુકાર ગણાતા લોકો તેની સામે આશ્ચર્ય અને ઉપહાસની નજરે થી તાકી રહ્યાં હતાં. જોકે રુપ માં એ કોઈ અપ્સરા થી કમ ન હતી, કાળા રંંગની ગામઠી ચોળી, ગળામાં હાસળી , હાથમાં ચૂડલા,નાકમાં નથ, કાનમાં ઝૂૂૂૂૂમખાં અને દેહ ને ઢાંકે એવી ચૂૂૂનર. પુરેપુરું રુઢિચુસ્ત ગામડુું અને હાથમાં ગાંસડી, જેમાં મા એ બનાવેલા ઢેબરાં, એકાદ જોડકપડાં હશે તથાં એક અજાણ્યો ભાર. તે બસમાં ગોઠવાઈ. પરંતુ તેના મોઢા પર કયારેય ઉત્સાહ, કયારેક
