** ન્યાય કે અન્યાય ? ** આસામ રાજયમાં એન.આર.સી. કાયદાના અમલ પછી સરકારશ્રી દ્વારા જે આખરી લિસ્ટ બહાર પાડવામાં આવ્યું હતું તે મુજબ લગભગ સાડા ઓગણીસ લાખ કરતાં થોડાક વધારે લોકો પોતે ભારતીય નાગરિક છે તેવું પુરવાર કરી શકયા ન હતા. રાજય સરકારના અનુરોધ પર નામદાર સર્વોચ્ચ અદાલત દ્વારા આવા લોકોને પોતાની ભારતીયતા પુરવાર કરવાની એક વધુ તક આપવા માટે એક પબ્લિક ટ્રાઇબ્યુનલ ગઠિત કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. લોકોને ત્યાં અપીલ દાખલ કરી પોતાની પાસે જે કોઈ પુરાવાઓ હોય તે રજૂ કરી પોતે ભારત દેશના નાગરિક છે તેવું પુરવાર કરવા જણાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ ટ્રાઇબ્યુનલ કાર્યરત થઈ ગઈ હતી અને લોકોના
