અડધી રાત્રે.. --------------“ કેમ છે? આવું કે ઘરમાં..”“ એમાં પૂછવાનું હોય કે..તમારું જ ઘર છે..” હસતાં હસતાં કપડાં ઠીક કરતાં વસંતીએ શ્યામની સામે જોયાં વગર કહ્યું.અને તે અંદરની અંધારી ઓરડીમાં ગઈ. શ્યામ વસંતીની પીઠ કામૂક નજરે જોઈ રહ્યો હતો. પેંટનાં ખિસ્સામાંથી કાંસકો કાઢી વાળ સરખા કરતાં કરતાં બાજુમાં પડેલી ફોલ્ડિંગ ખૂરશી પર બેઠો પગ પર પગ ચઢાવીને અને જોયા કરતો હતો વસંતીની ખૂલ્લી કમ્મર.ઘર જો મારું છે તો તું પણ મારી જ છે ને? હોઠ પર આવેલાં શબ્દોને ગળી ગયો વસંતી ની લટકમટકતી ચાલ જોઈને. હાથમાં પાણીનો પ્યાલો હતો. એનાં શરીરમાંથી એક કંપારી છૂટી ગઈ. પાણીનો પ્યાલો હાથમાં આપશે અને
