શિક્ષણ_કથા આજે શિક્ષણને માતૃભાષા સાથે સાંકળી લેવામાં આવ્યું છે. મને એવું કહેવામાં આવ્યું છે કે મારી માતૃભાષા ગુજરાતી છે અને ગુજરાતીમાં જ મને શીખવાડવામાં આવે તો હું સરસ ભણીશ. ગુજરાતી મારી માતાની ભાષા છે. બાળક સાથે સૌથી પહેલી વાત એની માતા કરે છે. બાળક માતાની ભાષામાં દુનિયાને ઓળખે છે, સમજે છે. વગેરે વગેરે આ માતૃભાષા શું છે? ખરેખર આપણી માતૃભાષા ગુજરાતી છે? ગુજરાતી સિવાયની ભાષામાં ભણવાથી બાળક કુંઠીત થઈ જાય છે? તો પછી જેમની પાસે પૈસા છે એમના બાળકો સીબીએસઈ, ઇન્ટરનેશનલ સ્કુલોમાં ભણવાથી કુંઠીત થઈ જાય છે? આંકડાઓ અને હકીકત તો કંઈ જુદું જ કહે છે. ભણતરને પૈસા સાથે સંબંધ છે. તમારી
