હું તું અને આપણી દીકરી આ એક આવી વાર્તા છે કે જેમાં પિતાની પુત્રી તરફની લાગણીઓનો અહેસાસ અપાવે છે પુરુષ વિશેની વાર્તા પુરુષ એક નારિયેળ સમાન હો છે,બહારથી કઠણ અને અંદરથી નરમ પુરુષ એટલે વ્રજ જેવી છાતી પાછળ ધબકતું કોમળ ર્હદય (ડૉ. અવનિ વ્યાસ) એક પુરુષ સરળતાથી પોતાની લાગણીઓ કયારેય વ્યક્ત નથી કરતો પરંતુ આ એક એવા વ્યક્તિની વાર્તા છે જેને ઘણી વાર એની પ્રેયસી પાસે એની દીકરી પ્રત્યેની લાગણીઓ નો ઉભરો ઠાલવ્યો છે. જેની પાસે દીકરી (ઝંખના) છે, એ પિતા એની સાથે છે પરંતુ અમને એમની લાગણી ઓને વ્યક્ત કયારેય નથી કરી, અથવા, દીકરી સામે પ્રેમની લાગણીઓ વ્યક્ત કરતા નથી આવડતી. અને
