વિજય રોજ સવારે સાત વાગ્યે પોતાની દુકાને જતો ને સાંજે નવ વાગ્યે ઘરે આવતો. આ તેનો રોજ નો સમય હતો તે રવિવારે પણ પૂરો સમય દુકાને ગાળતો એટલે તેની પત્ની નીલમ ને પુરો સમય આપી શકતો ન હતો. આથી નીલમ દુખી રહેતી. તે વારે વારે તેના પતિ વિજય ને કહેતી તમે અમારી સાથે થોડો સમય વિતાવો પણ વિજય તેની વાત ને નજર અંદાજ કરતો. એક વિજય સવારે દુકાને પહોંચ્યો ત્યાં વરસાદ શરૂ થયો. ધીરે ધીરે વધવા લાગ્યો. બજાર સુનસાન થઈ ગઈ હતી બધા દુકાન બંધ કરી ઘરે નીકળી ગયા હતા બસ વિજય એક દુકાન ખોલીને બેઠો હતો. બપોર થયા એટલે
