તે દોડી રહી છે! હરણીની જેમ...! એવું લાગતું હતું કે બસ દોડતી જ રહેશે જ્યાં સુધી જંગલ પાર ન થાય, ચારેકોર ઘેઘૂર વનની વચ્ચે. એકલી, ન કોઈનો સાથ ન સંગાથ. દૂર દૂરથી આવી રહેલો કોયલનો મીઠો અવાજ પણ આજે તેને કાગડાના અવાજ જેવો લાગતો હતો, એવું લાગતું હતું કે ઝડવાંઓમાં વિટાળાયેલ લીલાસૂકા વેલાઓ તેને પકડવા દોડી રહ્યા છે, પણ આજ તેને કોઈ ન પકડી શકે! પગમાં કોઈ પગરખું તો નથી પણ તેમાં લાગતા કાંટાઓ કે અણીદાર પથ્થરો ની તો એને કોઈ અસર જ નથી, ન તો ઝડવાંઓ પર લટકતા સાપ ની બીક ના જમીન પર ફરતા વીંછી ની, ખબર નહીં ક્યાં
