(1) मन की चंचलता एक बार की बात है , गौतम बुद्ध अपने शिष्यों के साथ कहीं जा रहे थे.रास्ते में उन्हें प्यास लगी . उन्होंने अपने एक शिष्य से पानी लाने को कहा. शिष्य जलाशय की तलाश में आगे बढ़ चला. सुरज की दग्ध किरणों से परेशान होते हुए भी अपने गुरु की आज्ञा का पालन करते हुए आगे बढ़ता चला गया. रास्ते में एक पोखर मिला जिसमे कुछ बच्चे खेल रहे थे . शिष्य के जाने पर बच्चे भाग गए . शिष्य गौतम बुद्ध को पोखर के पास ले गया . गौतम बुद्ध की आज्ञानुसार शिष्य पानी लाने को तत्पर हुआ . पर गौतम बुद्ध ने उसे रोक
