लगभग 40 साल पुरानी है। उस समय फैन और कूलर का जमाना नहीं था। ए.सी. की बात तो दूर थी। मई के महीना था। ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे धरती आग उगल रही थी। चिलचिलाती धुप चल रही थी । लू की लहर से सारे परेशान थे । उस समय पेड़ और तालाब हीं शांति के स्रोत था। आदमी तो आदमी, जानवरों का भी बुरा हाल था। भैंसे दिन भर पोखर या तालाब में पड़ी रहती थी। पूर्णमासी प्रसाद जी हाथ का पँखा चला चला कर किसी तरह स्कूल में पढ़ाकर साईकिल से घर लौटे। पसीने से लथपथ, घर पे आकर थोड़ी देर आराम किए ।
