દિવાળી પછીના દિવસો હતા. વાતાવરણમાં સવાર-સાંજ ફૂલગુલાબી ઠંડી ફેલાવા લાગી હતી. ગામડાઓમા ખેતર ની અંદર મોસમની સીઝન ભરપૂર ચાલી રહી હતી. ઠેર ઠેર મગફળીના હલર (થ્રેસર )ચાલી રહ્યા હતા અને વળી એક લોકવાયકા મુજબ દિવાળીના આસપાસના દિવસો એટલે નવા દિવસો. આવા દિવસો માં ભૂત- પ્રેત -ચુડેલ - જેવા આભાસી ચિત્રો વધુ કાર્યરત હોય છે. અહીં આવા ચિત્રોને મે આભાસી ચિત્રો એટલા માટે કહયા છે કે આજ દિન સુધી મે આવા શબ્દ ધારી ચિત્રો ક્યારે જોયા નથી અને વળી ઉપરની લોકવાયકા બધાને અસર કરતી નથી એટલે કે ઉપરની અમુક માન્યતા બધાને લાગુ ન પણ પડતી હોય , પણ લગભગ
