ઉંચી મેડી તે મારા વરની રે..! શું એ મલમલી સમય હતો? માણસની વાતને મારો ગોલી, ચોખ્ખું આકાશ, ચોખ્ખો પ્રકાશ, NO રકાશ, NO બકવાસ, કોઈ અગડમ બગડમ નહિ, ને કોઈની તિકડમબાજી નહિ. ધોતિયું પગેરણ ધારણ કરીએ તો પણ દિવાળી ઝાકમઝોળ..! વાત છોડો, ફટાકડાનું દુષણ પણ નહિ ને, પ્રદુષણ પણ નહિ. દિવાળી આવે એટલે, બાલ-અબાલ સૌના હાથમાં ઝાડું..! કોઈ હાથસફાઈ નહિ, માત્ર એક જ મુદ્દાનો કાર્યક્રમ, સાફસફાઈ..! એવી દોદાદીડી કરે કે, ૧૦૦ ટકા ખાતરી થઇ જતી કે, ઘરમાં આન-માન ને શાનથી ધડાકાભેર દિવાળી આવી રહી છે. આડોશ-પાડોશ ને પાદરે બબાલ નહિ, ધમાલ-ધમાલ મચતી.
