લગ્નનાં લગભગ ૧૦ વર્ષ પછી એ ક્ષણ ઘર આંગણે આવી હતી. આ સમયની આતુરતાથી ઘરના મોટેરા થી માંડી નાનેરા દરેક રાહ જોઈ રહ્યાં હતાં. આ બધાં માં ઋતુલનો જીવ જાણે પડીકે બધાયો હતો. ઓપરેશન થિયેટર ની બહાર એક ખૂણેથી બીજે ખૂણે ફરતો હતો. એને જોઈ કિન્નરભાઈથી રહેવાયું નહીં અને તેની પાસે જઈ ખભે હાથ મુકતા, " બેટા આમ રૂમ ની પહોળાઈ માપવાથી શું થઈ જવાનું છે. ભગવાન પર વિશ્વાસ રાખ સૌ સરવાના થઈ જશે. જીવિકા અને બાળક બંને ને આપણે હેમખેમ જ ઘરે લઈ જઈશું." હા પપ્પા હું જાણું છું, પરંતુ આ મનનું શું કરું... શાંત થતું જ નથી ને.
