એક યુવાન પોતાને જંગલમાં ફરવાનો અને કુદરતી વસ્તુઓ નિહાળવાનો ઘણો શોખ હતો એટલે તે એકવાર જંગલમાં નીકળી પડ્યો, તે યુવાનનું નામ મલિક હતું અને તેની ઉંમર લગભગ વીસેક વર્ષની હશે. આમ તો મલિક નીડર હતો એટલે જંગલના પ્રાણીનો અવાજ આવવાથી ડરતો ન હતો તે ધીમે ધીમે તે જંગલની વચ્ચે પહોંચી ગયો હતો. વચ્ચેનું જંગલ એટલું ગાઢ હતું કે સૂર્યનો પ્રકાશ પણ ધરતી પર પડતો ન હતો. આવા ગાઢ જંગલમાં મલિક કુદરતની કરામત નિહાળી રહ્યો હતો, હરણનું ટોળું ઘાસ ચરતા ચરતા મલિકના પગનો
