“મમ્મી હું જાવ છું.”અઢારેક વરસના લાગતા એક છોકરા એ પોતાની બેગ લઈ ને ઘર ની બહાર નીકળતા કહ્યું.“ઉભો રે,કબીર.” અંદર થી તેની મમ્મી નો અવાજ આવ્યો.“કૉલેજ નો પહેલો દિવસ છે ને મારે મોડું નથી પહોંચવું.”જૂતા પેહરતા પેહરતાં બોલ્યો.તેની મમ્મી બહાર આવી અને લંચ બોકસ હાથ માં મૂકી ને કીધું, “હા,હો ભાઈ,પણ ભૂખ્યા પેટ કઈ નહિ થાય.”કબીર થોડો ઝંખવાણો અને તેની મમ્મી સામે જોઈને હસ્યો અને ઘર ની બહાર નીકળી ગયો.“સંભાળી ને જજે.”પાછળથી તેની મમ્મીનો અવાજ આવ્યો.“એ...હા.” કહી ઉતાવળે હાથ ઊંચો કરી કબીરે જવાબ આપ્યો.ઘરે થી નીકળી તે ઝડપથી બસ સ્ટેશન પહોંચ્યો. ત્યાં પહેલેથી જ તેનો મિત્ર યશ તેની વાટ જોઈ
