પરિતા ની માતા ના અવસાન ને 2 વર્ષ વીતી ચૂકયા હતા..ફક્ત 10 વર્ષ ની વયે પરિતા એ માતા ની છાયા ગુમાવી દીધી હતી..પણ પરિતા ના પિતા સચિન એ ક્યારેય એને માતા ની ખોટ સાલવા નહોતી દીધી..બાપ દીકરી વચ્ચે ગજબ નો સુમેળ હતો. સચિન ની ખાસ કંઈ ઉંમર નહોતી એટલે હમેશા બધા એને બીજા લગ્ન કરવાની સલાહ આપતા..એકવાર સચિન ના માતા પિતા એ સચિન ને બીજા લગ્ન કરી લેવા કહ્યું ત્યારે સચિને ચોખ્ખા શબ્દો માં ના પાડી દીધી અને કહી દીધું "હું પરિતા ના ભોગે મારા જીવન ને આગળ ચલાવવા નથી માંગતો" પરિતા સ્કૂલે થી પરત ફરી હતી તે જ વખતે
