(વૃદ્ધ મા બાપને વૃદ્ધાશ્રમમાં મોકલી દેતા માણસો ઈચ્છે છે કે એમના સંતાન એમને વૃદ્ધાવસ્થામાં સાચવે... પણ સંતાન જેવું જુવે એવુંજ સમજે અને શીખે છે...)અમદાવાદની મધ્યે આવેલું વિશ્રામ વૃદ્ધાશ્રમ. એ વૃદ્ધાશ્રમ ની રમ નંબર ૨૧ ની બારી પાસે બેઠેલા બે વૃદ્ધો. ઉંમરના કારણે થઈ ગયેલા વૃદ્ધો નહિ પણ પરિસ્થિતિ ના કારણે દેખાતા વૃદ્ધો. એ બારી પાસે બેઠેલા બળવંતભાઈ અને એમના પત્ની ગોમતીબેન. એમનો એકનો એક દીકરો અનિલ પોતાના માં બાપને આ ઘરડાઘરમાં આજથી લગભગ પંદર દિવસ પહેલા મૂકી ગયો હતો. બળવંતભાઈને હજી યાદ છે પંદર દિવસ પહેલાનો એ દિવસ જ્યારે એમનો દીકરો અને વહું બંનેને ઘરડાઘરમાં મૂકી ઘેર ચાલતો
