એમ મનોમન બબડતા તેણે પથારી માંથી ઉભા થઇ ને જેમતેમ કરી ને બલ્બ ની સ્વીચ ઑન કરી.....અને બન્ને કમાડ વગર ના દરવાજા ઉપર સેકંડ ના ચોથા ભાગ મા નજર કરી લીધી.. પણ તેને નેવા માંથી વરસતી વરસાદ ની અવીરત ધારા સિવાય કંઇજ ના દેખાયુ.. ને દેડકા ના એ લયબધ્ધ અવાજ સીવાય બીજુ કંઇ ના સંભળાયુ..મનોમન એક લાંબો સ્વાસ લઇ બલ્બ પાછો બંધ કરી ને પોતાની પથારી મા પાછુ લંબાવી ને દરવાજા ની સામે પાછી દ્રષ્ટી કરી... ક્યારેક ક્યારેક થતી વિજળી ના ચમકારા મા લીમડા ની ભીની થયેલી એ ડાળખીયો ને જોતા જોતા એ વિચાર માં પડયો...કે કદાચ ઘડીયાલ મા 1 વાગ્યો વાગ્યો હશે..
