ચંદનગઢ નામનું ગામ હતું. ગામની પર્વતો આસપાસ ઘરેયલો રહેતો, ખૂબ હરિયાળો અને સમુદ્ર ગામ હતો. ગામની વસ્તી પંચરંગી હતી. ગામ ખૂબ સમુદ્ર અને ધનવાન હોવાના કારણે દૂરદૂરથી લોકો અહીં વેવશાય માટે આવતા તો કોઈ કોઈ અહીં નવા રોજગારની શોધમાં આવતા.ગામની થોડી જ નઝદીક બંદરગાહ આવેલું હતું. જેથી દેશ વિદેશમાં ખૂબ વેપાર થતું હતું. જેથી અહીં મોટોભાગે વેપારી પ્રજા રહેતી હતી. એક બ્રાહ્મણ કુટુંબ રહેવા માટે ગામડામાં આવ્યુ હતું. બ્રાહ્મણ સંસ્કૃતના જાણકાર હતા. જેથી તેઓ ને અહીં ગામના મંદિરમાં પૂજા કરવાનું કામ તરત મળી ગયું.કુટુંબમાં પૂજારી વસંતલાલ, તેની પત્ની અને તેનો બાર વર્ષનો બાળક, ગૌરવ. વસંતલાલની પત્ની, જાનકી દેવી ખૂબ ભક્તિભાવમાં
