એમ વિચાર જરૂર આવે કે અમેરિકા પાસે જેટલી જમીન છે એટલી જો ભારત પાસે હોત તો આ સવાસો કરોડ ની વસ્તી સાથે આપણે કદાચ આરામથી રહેતા સોથી સુખી દેશ હોત. ભા રત કરતા ચાર ગણો મોટો આ દેશ અમેરિકા છે. . એર્ટલે કે અમેર્રિકા થી ભારત નો વિસ્તાર ચોથા ભાગનો માત્ર છે. જયારે વસ્તી ની રીતે જોઈએ તો અમેરિકા કરતા ચાર ગણી વધુ વસ્તી ભારતની છે. છેલ્લ ૨૦૦ વરસમાં અમેરિકા અને ચીન જેવા રાષ્ટ્રોનો વિસ્તાર અનેક ગણો વધી ગયો છે / જયારે ભારતનો વિસ્તાર્ર છેલ્લl ૨૦૦ વરસોમાં ગણો ઘટી ગયો છે અને વસ્તી અનેક ગણી વધી ગઈ છે.
