ત્યાં બીજો દોસ્ત બોલ્યો, “બનાવ. નીટ મારવું છે.” “આપ આપ. બનાવ એકદમ કડક. કોલ્ડ-ડ્રીંક નહિ...! નહિ...” “હા, નીટ મારવું છે.”આંખ ખુલ્લી નહોતી રહેતી. હૃદય અંદરથી કંઇક બળબળતું નીકળવા જઈ રહ્યું હતું. અને, ખુદાને યાદ કરીને કુરાનની આયત બોલ્યો. દરેક સલીમની તરફ જોઈ રહ્યા હતા. તે રૂમીની શાયરી બોલ્યો. “ઝાલિમોને કહીં કા ન છોડા રૂમી, ઈખ્તિયાર-એ-ઈશ્ક ભી તુને ખોયા રૂમી. અબ ક્યા સુનાઉં હાલ-એ-દિલ યારો, કહી કા ન રહા હાલ-એ-દિલ રૂમી. એક અદાવત થી ઉસને ભી નઝર ફેર લિયા, એક નઝાકત થી ઉસને ભી નઝર ફેર લિયા. કિસ-કિસ કા સુનાઉં કિસ-કિસને નઝર ફેર લિયા, એક ફાકર સે તુને ભી નઝર ફેરા રૂમી.”
